Getting over the jetlag...
... took me longer than I thought it would. Although staying up late, I would still wake up at 4 a.m. for the first 5 nights. Work had me in a harsh grip, but on the other hand I'm fully motivated and I can see progress.
Being back on my beloved bike for the way to work is good, but if I try to go running directly after coming home from work, I really suck! Those two just don't go together. Took up Karate again and already got the first big bruise again from trying to block a leg with my forearm, bad idea... ;-)

European Championship is taking up the rest of the free time, the Germans are doing pretty well.
I watched the quarter final Germany - Portugal with Alejandro (Argentinian guy I met last year at the summerschool in Marktoberdorf, see picture) and his colleagues from Sweden at the Chinese Tower Beergarden in the English Garden. After that, we went partying on Leopoldstraße - big crowd there celebrating like crazy, which is not a good idea if you have to catch a train at 6 a.m. to go to a workshop the next day... (that would be me).

This weekend we went to conquer the Watzmann with the old Passau gang, well, part of them, and other friends, all in all there were 19 of us and I had a great time catching up with Alex, Horst, and all the others - photos coming soon, the only one I can show you so far is the route we did (copyright by Katharina ;-))
